Heather Brae comfortably sleeps up to 24 guests using standard bed arrangements. Additional z-beds and pull-out singles are available on request, allowing the house to cater for up to 28 guests depending on group composition and comfort preferences.

Heather Brae is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

Heather Brae welcomes a wide range of groups — from multi-generational family gatherings and milestone celebrations to corporate retreats, walking and cycling parties, sporting groups, wellness stays and private group weekends. The house is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.
Heather Brae is well suited to celebrations and private group occasions — milestone birthdays, anniversaries, reunions and similar events. Hen and stag parties are welcome with prior approval from the owner. We ask that all events remain respectful of the property and the surrounding area, and observe a quiet period after 10pm. Specific requirements should be discussed in advance.
Heather Brae is not a licensed wedding venue and cannot host civil ceremonies on site. However, it can work well as exclusive-use wedding accommodation — providing a private and beautiful base for the wedding party before or after a ceremony held elsewhere. Yes — Heather Brae is primarily a self-catering property. The kitchen is large, well equipped and designed for group cooking. For groups who want a more hosted experience, private chef introductions and local catering arrangements may be available by prior enquiry.
An executive chef can be arranged for your stay, and a local craft brewery can deliver directly to the house. Both require advance notice — please contact us well before your arrival date to make arrangements.
Yes. Supermarket deliveries can be arranged to arrive at Heather Brae on your arrival day. As part of our Complimentary Arrival Service, we will accept your delivery, unpack your shopping and ensure refrigerated and frozen items are properly stored — so everything is ready when you arrive. Please let us know in advance that you have arranged a delivery, including the supermarket name and your confirmed time slot. Deliveries should be booked between 11:00am and 1:00pm.

Heather Brae is a dog-friendly property. Please let us know if you plan to bring your dog when making your enquiry so we can confirm the arrangements before your booking. Dogs must remain on the ground floor of the house and be kept on a lead when in the garden.

Standard check-in is from 4:00pm on your arrival day, and check-out is by 10:00am on your departure day. Please let us know your arrival plans in advance so we can be prepared for your group.
Early arrivals or late departures may be possible depending on the booking schedule. Please ask when you enquire and we will do our best to accommodate your plans.

The rental price covers exclusive use of the entire house, grounds and facilities for your group — including the hot tubs, tennis court, all bedrooms and communal spaces. Towels, bed linen, and fuel, power and kindling for the woodburning stove are all included. Food, drink and any additional services arranged through our Concierge are not included in the base rental price.
Most bookings are for a minimum of three nights. Shorter stays may be available — please enquire if you have specific requirements.
